someone has to rescue America’s children

Wisdom has left the classroom. Relentless electronic exposure has altered brain function. Experiential isolation has rendered an entire generation clueless about matters of real substance. Someone needed to step in between our children and the cultural avalanche. So here we stand. And we hope you will join us.

Gold Groves Academy

children learn mathematics, physics, chemistry, history, and classic literature using nature as our classroom.

children also learn by doing

Gold Groves Academy is not a building. It is a community on acres of God’s greatest creation: rolling hills, meadows, forests, and streams, all on the Pacific Ocean coastline. The Gold Groves child learns to grow food, and understands – from first-hand experience – the importance of pristine, nutrient-rich soil. The Gold Groves child learns from the world’s leading artisans how to make pottery, furniture, clothing, and even repair an engine!

And the Gold Groves child becomes wise. Because these are not lessons projected on a screen. These are unforgettable, immersive experiences.

we knew our purpose was to resurrect the american dream

We saw the spark of imagination flickering. Genius suppressed. Pioneering grit whittled to dust. How to turn this around? Re-invent how we’re raising children.

We are committed to growing our children into the next greatest generation. And when we are successful, they will fan the flames and carry the torch of the American Dream forward.

the dream

For years, Gold Groves was a seed, deep below the firmament of daily life. We could feel its energy breaking the shell, pulling in nutrients, but nothing visible had emerged. Suddenly, God’s Hand reached down and gently cleared distractions from this fertile space. The ground shook and cracked open as a vast root system emerged across the earth’s surface. What had been in the imagination was now a towering grove of trees, a network that reached from east to west, north to south, as far as the eye could see. Children appeared in its branches, laughing and playing. Geniuses appeared, studying in the protective shade. Our tears of joy formed rivers, irrigating an arid land.

And the dream was made manifest.
